Wow..
That was a long silence.
I missed you.
No really I did.
I thought it was about time I put pen to paper or at least my fingers to my keyboard.
So here I am, blogging from my new home, with walls that smell of new paint and noises I am not yet accustomed to. On moving day I filled a huge removal van with kitsch tat and watched as boxes of tiny deer carefully wrapped in bubbles were piled out of reach. The removal men then disappeared with all my things, and I fell asleep on the dining room floor of my empty house, as I waited and waited
and waited for that completion call. Hours later - completion (
scream!) - and I got the keys to my new shiny top floor apartment. It was all very dramatic, and I will never forget locking my front door for the very last time.
I am in love with my new home and I will certainly be sharing some photographs with you soon. When the paint has dried.
Aside from moving I had a couple of my iPhone snaps published in the
Rough Guide to Digital Photography. The book was written by the fabulous Sophie Goldsworthy, now pop over to her
blog and I will see you soon.
