These two photographs were taken at the weddings of my grandparents. The top one is of my mum's parents who married in Hereford, and the bottom is of my dad's who married in Plymouth. Sadly, I never met my dad's father who passed away in his early 30's.
My Mum is in each of the three photographs below. I adore the expressions, the bows and the dresses. What ever happened to street parties, knitted v-neck cardigans and pretty homemade dresses?
