A change is as good as a cushion

They say a change is as good as a rest, and in need of another holiday, I decided to order some new cushions. As one does. And here they are; the aqua mod design ones were from Cotton Colours on Etsy, the Jules Girl one was from Click For Art, an on-line shop selling artist's limited editions and the union jack ones were from Debenhams.

A Home From Home

While wandering around the beautiful streets of Le Marais, Paris I stumbled across an amazing shop. The shop sold vintage knick-knacks, jewellery and bohemian designer clothing. I wanted pretty much everything in there, and I will certainly be paying it another visit. I now have one very good reason to return to Paris!

Summer Break to Paris

We decided to go on another city break this year, because sun creams, beaches and palm trees are really such a bore! Despite many trips to Paris during my time at university, and working for agnes b, I had never been with a digital SLR camera, so I was excited to see Paris through a digital lens. I also took my iPhone along for a little application experimentation.













The five days were wonderful and passed by all too quickly. Why do holidays do that? We ate far too many macaroons, walked miles and miles, admired the beautiful sites and took in the Parisian atmosphere. I am still yearning for the Sonia Rykiel domino bag I saw in Gallery Lafayette. I was, however, unable to resist a Paul and Joe make-up bag complete with a pink Bambi print. 

I am slowly uploading my photographs to Flickr. I had no idea I had taken so many. I guess the secret of good digital photography is knowing when to stop. I must practice that one. The full set can be viewed here.
